About Northfield Car Care Centre

Established in 1998, we are a family-run independent garage serving motorists in and around Northfield. Over almost three decades, the business has grown alongside the vehicles we work on, investing in modern equipment and adapting to the increasing number of hybrid and electric cars on the road. Our commitment to honest advice and dependable workmanship has remained unchanged throughout.

Our team

Steve leads a team of six experienced staff who can work on all makes and models. Many of our customers have been with us for years, which allows us to build a detailed understanding of each vehicle’s history and provide recommendations based on its age, mileage, and how it is used.

Transparent pricing

We believe customers should have full visibility of the work carried out on their vehicle, which is why we will call you if we find anything beyond the original booking. No additional work is ever carried out without your authorisation and without confirming the cost.

Workshop and equipment

We work on all makes and models, using Snap-on and Autel diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately. Smoke testing allows us to locate vacuum and exhaust leaks precisely, avoiding unnecessary parts replacement. Our workshop has four ramps, including two MOT testing bays side by side, allowing two vehicles to be tested at the same time. We are also well equipped to carry out cambelt, timing chain, and wet belt replacements.

Accreditations

Northfield Car Care Centre is the only RAC Approved Garage in the area, and the RAC refers breakdown repairs directly to our workshop. We are members of AutoCare and GroupAuto, and hold accreditations with the IMI, Approved Garages, Who Can Fix My Car, Shell, and Forte. These accreditations provide independent recognition of the standards we work to, and we hope they give you the reassurance to bring your car to us if you never have before.

Parts, warranties, and payment

We use original equipment quality parts, which are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and for vehicles still under manufacturer warranty, work is carried out in line with the manufacturer’s schedule and specifications, helping to keep that warranty valid, and where a parts claim involves a warranty provider, we liaise with them directly on your behalf. Payment Assist is also available to our customers.

Our location close to the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital means we look after many doctors and hospital staff. We also serve customers from Bartley Green, Weoley Castle, Shenley Fields, Fairfield, Clent, and Belbroughton.
